

Anyway, in 1870 there was again an American Arms Company. which could be the successor or American Tool and Machine Co. In 1867 there was a company named American Nut and Arms Co. or a new company with this name was founded. In 1865 either the company was renamed to American Tool and Machine Co.I know it was most likely sold by H&D Folsom Sporting Goods of New York from 1893 to 1930 manufactured by Cresent. It is a double barrel 12 gage with hammers and is choke bored on both barrels.

I have come across a double barrel 12 gage and the only thing it has is American Gun Company the serial number has a 2 over the serial 45303. This one was probably mfg after 1898 so it has to go to a C&R license holder or an FFL.
